How It All Started?

The Mezuzah Project began in 2023 with a simple belief: no Jewish home should be without a Mezuzah.

What started as an effort to help more Jewish families fulfill this meaningful mitzvah quickly grew into something much bigger.

As we began reaching out, we discovered how many Jewish homes were still missing a Mezuzah. Some families had never owned one. Others had moved into new homes, while many simply needed someone to help them take that first step.

Each installation became more than just a Mezuzah on a doorpost. It was an opportunity for a meaningful conversation, a renewed connection to Jewish identity, and a reminder that every Jewish home is part of something greater.

With thousands of Mezuzahs distributed and installed, and a growing network of partners around the world, what began as a small initiative has become a global movement.

And we’re just getting started..

Our Vision

Our vision is simple, yet ambitious: a world where every Jewish home proudly displays a kosher Mezuzah.

A Mezuzah is more than a symbol. It is a daily reminder of our faith, our heritage, and our connection to G-d. It transforms an ordinary doorway into a visible expression of Jewish identity.

We envision a future where obtaining a kosher Mezuzah is easy, affordable, and accessible, regardless of where someone lives or their level of Jewish involvement.

By removing financial and practical barriers, partnering with Jewish communities, and empowering local leaders, we are building a sustainable global network that brings this mitzvah to more homes every day.

The People

The Mezuzah Project started with two friends, one from New York and the other from Virginia, who shared a simple dream: to see a Mezuzah on every Jewish door.

What began as a conversation between friends turned into a worldwide initiative. Today, the entire project is still run by just the two of them, driven by their passion for this special mitzvah and the belief that every Jewish home deserves a kosher Mezuzah.

Of course, bringing this mission to life takes more than two people. Behind every Mezuzah are dedicated Sofrim (scribes), skilled professionals, generous supporters, and people who genuinely care about making this mitzvah accessible to everyone

Our Commitment to Kosher

When it comes to a Mezuzah, Kashrus is everything.

That’s why we didn’t simply look for a supplier. We built our own.

In Israel, we have established a complete system dedicated to producing authentic, kosher Mezuzah scrolls, from the writing process to inspection and quality control.

Our operation brings together experienced Sofrim (Jewish scribes), professional examiners, and a carefully structured process designed to ensure that every Mezuzah meets the highest standards of Halacha.

By managing the process ourselves, we maintain direct oversight of production, quality, and Kashrus, while making kosher Mezuzahs more affordable and accessible to Jewish homes around the world.
